My go-to local authentic Cuban food fix place! The palomilla steak with sautéed onions bowl and the pulled pork bowl are favorites. Always great service and friendly conversation that makes a difference. Clean and great ambiance for a quick meal. Love that they have delicious specials to look out for. Love this place!

Great place to utilize for meal prep. Love their chicken...but I am a fan of dry chicken with no fat or gristle. Recommend brown or yellow rice, garlic cilantro sauce, mustard curry sauce, and the classic bowl. My husband likes the steak Cuban and the jalapeño sauce. Their sweet tea is pretty good too.

It is a great place to eat when you want real food! The bowls of rice and beans are fresh and they use cuban seasoning. It is not authentic and its also made very fast BUT the food is very tasty. The waitress got our order ready in less than 10 min! So the service is very quick. The atmosphere is great for families, and for quick, casual lunch, and dinner.

Wonderful restaurant. We slid in here trying to avoid the hurricane and had a wonderful evening. Calming drone tv played in the screen, helpful cashiers and servers too! Amazing food, large portions, wonderful sauces, reasonable prices. Positive, upbeat music streamed in. I wish we had one of these where I am because I would be there all the time. Highly recommend if you are a local or if you are traveling through. I think it's a great option for groups as well b/c they have a strong varied menu. Vegetarian options as well. The plantains are amazing as well. We both had the palmillo bowl. Hands down perfection. Opt for yellow rice for a more authentic feel. I feel like this place is classified as Cuban but it's really just yummy bowl food! A wonderful place to spend an evening eating good food with good company. Come and check them out!

LOVE Tropical Grille! South of the Boarder bowl is always my go to! They give you large portions which I love! Definitely get your moneys worth. Love their jalapeño garlic sauce signature sauce. Yum!!!

Got the Classic Deluxe bowl with sweet and sour sauce! And if you listen to me I won't steer ya wrong. You got to try it. Service was clean, courteous and prompt. If ya got to run it it only takes 6-7 minutes to calm your taste buds. So don't forget to make your decision quick, go by Tropical Grill to get your stomach filled!

Tropical Grille is a winning combination: It's delicious and cheap. Also, I need to be lost in the sauce. They will more than fulfill that. I always get the cuban chicken wrap with an order of Yuka fries. They have a half dozen or so sauces to choose from and even give you the entire bottle for you order. I always go with the Steph Curry sauce and the Jalapeno sauce. They have that chicken grilling right for you to see when you walk in. They display that thing right in front of your face. They don't try to hide it like Chipotle does. In all seriousness, I love these places. They have a couple sprinkled throughout Greenville and I really hope they put a restaurant in Columbia one of these days. This is a must eat if you live in Greenville and a must try if you're from out of town.

NIce clean place with bright lights. Had music playing in the background. Wooden tables with metal chairs. Not the most comfortable but suffice. We ordered the Cuban sandwich which had much more roasted pork than ham on it. Had several pickles on it which was good. We also ordered the vegetarian wrap. It was decent but more of a pita than a wrap. The home run was the baked sweet plantains. They were very enjoyable. Not dried out and tasted amazing.
